If a teen has runaway before and then came back home, but the parents know what state the teen ranaway too and then the teens runs away again, and the parents/police check the phone records and they see that they were talking to a person in the same state as where they ranaway before can they search that persons house who they were talking too? Like can they search somebodys house just for talking on the phone to someone who ranaway?

DONT WORRY GUYS I'M NOT RUNNING AWAY OR ANYTHING. I just have these curiosities.

that is a good question (please dont try it lol) but i'm almost certain they can. they can probably ask you what you know at first. and if you dont want to be cooperative then they can get a warrant and search
