How am i supose to get this guy arrested ?

First you should request a copy of the police report from when the incident occurred. Did the sheriff take the gun as evidence or let him keep it? Get a copy of the report and see what the reason is for him not being arrested yet.

Many times you're only hearing half the story and there's always more details not shared with you that would be available in a police report. It may not show his name though since he was never charged with it and he is most likely listed as the suspect.

It's not up to you, if he didnt do anything directly to you.

-You can't. That is up to the District Attorneys Office to file charges against him. If he was not arrested on the night that he was contacted by the deputy, then the likelyhood of him being arrested is mute.

Without knowing the whole story it is impossible to give you a correct answer. Why do you want him to go to jail so bad?

The cop probably just took his gun and sent him on his merry way. and he just pocketed the gun for himself. Why would you want him locked up?

Can you talk to his parole officer? Perhaps call your state police?

If the Sheriff lies to protect him, there isn't much you can do. It is your word against the Sheriff's, and he is considered a "trained observer" by the courts. It seems odd that the Sheriff would not charge him. Have you asked the Sheriff?

You can always complain at a local newspaper.. hahah most likely some bewildered housewife will make a big deal out of it and eventually arrest the guy :)

I would put in a complaint about the sheriff also - they can both go behind bars, he is obviously not doing his job !!

Become a cop. That way you can arrest people even when you're off-duty.
