hi everyone
i just made the biggest mistake of my life i think i've ruined my boyfriends life:
hes tryin to become a police officer and he applyed in a few places.
he was 5 years in the miletery 2 of em he was actually in iraq and afganistan.
i know hell be a great cop and thats all he wanted to do in life.
but because of me (i uploaded nude pics of her online) his x called the cops on him. he wasnt arrested but was escorted from his house to the police station there he was questioned and had to sign a statement.
no pressed charges. but he signd the statement and its in his file.
will this effect him? will it ruin his chances to become a police officer?

the pic was taken when they were married. she was over 18. she posed for the camera. we live in nj. n he wasnt arrested but the cops came to pick him up. i did erase everything. the x said that if it wont happen again she wont press charges.
my bf didnt sign anything. the conversation was recorded. and there he said HE DID IT. i wanted to go there and come clean myself but he told me not to cuz if the x would find out i was the one who did it she would do anything possible to destroy my life. so he took a bullet for me basically.
and im sorry for my grammer and mistakes. im from brazil. so dont hate : (

i mean... hes a great person, he fought for this country. 5 years of military service....
no charges, he wasnt arrested... just a recorded statement.

is she over 18? did he steal the pictures? was he trying to sell the photos? If yes then he may have some problems.

if he took the pictures and she was aware that he was taking the photos then it is not against the law. if she was in a public place with no reasonable expectation of privacy and he took the pictures...its still not illegal. If you allow someone to take pictures of you (not for monetary gain) then you run the risk of those photos being seen by the public. That's his ex-girlfriends own fault. What you did was pretty messed up, but taking nude photos of an adult who was a willing participant is not illegal.

Please tell me your boyfriend spoke with an attorney before signing any statement considering he didn't do anything illegal!
