They were in jail for years for identity theft and fraud. This is not a relative and I do not know the parole officer.

Your best bet is to look them up online. They're records are online I'll guarantee you that. What ever state you're in, look up the jail/prison county and include the persons name through a search engine and you should definitely find some results.

prison records are made public, only problem is they are mostly online and they cost money. states used to keep them in a library where people could walk in free. but the online ways of life have changed everything. you can pay a small fee and find any public records of anybody, criminal or whatever. but besides that, no clue. sometimes you can call the prison and see if they can give you some informations but seriously, if hes not there, i dont they will. usually they only can give information about immates who are there and what they are there for and when they are going to be released. but since the person is gone, i doubt they will give you anything useful. your best bet, pay the fee and find out online. |
