Well me and this guy were getting into conflict n he told the police that I used a stolen credit card number and used it for chinese food.Now I do drywall work all day and night he picked me up in a lineup on paper but he knows me personally,the only proof he has is knowing my face and pointing me out,no phone records or nothing what should I do?

A solid visual ID and other evidence of a crime will sink you. There should be credit card records, at that point it just comes down to who was using it. If he IDs you, and there's no video of someone using the card, that's all they have. It comes down to how much he comes across to a jury as a reliable witness, vs. how much you can discredit him because he already knows you and made it up (blaming someone else's crime on you). |
