How did this cop know how fast I was going?

A few weeks ago I got a speeding ticket. I need to know how the officer "clocked" my speed. On the ticket, he checked "other" and wrote something that is a completely illegible scribble. I can't read it, and neither can any of my friends. The secretary at the magistrate's office was no help either. The other options that he could have checked are Radar, Clocked, AOV, ESP, or Vascar, so it can't be any of those. Any ideas what he may have written??

Most likely laser or a speedometer pace.
It may also be "visual observation".
If you want to be sure, you can either call and ask him, or contact the department and request a copy of his incident report. |

File a discovery motion for the officer's notes on the day of the citation. |

Since no one can read this Officer's Hand Writing as you say I would have it looked at by a Lawyer or someone in the Legal Business because this is pretty Weird. Law Enforcement Officers Rules are pretty much the same as Doctors when it comes to Paper Work. They must be "Clear" on their reasons for stopping anyone or anything. Also they must write so that anyone they stop can "Clearly" read anything that they may be handed with or without an Lawyer present. And since more and more Officers are stepping out of the line of duty every single day this is something I would take to a Good Lawyer because something somewhere is most certainly wrong. |

He probably matched speeds with you so however fast you were going, he went that fast and looked at his gauges for the speed.
Idk what all those initials stand for so idk if that would be one if those but it doesn't seem like it.
If its illegeable, you might be able to fight it and get away without the ticket.
Take it to a court that will take this type of case... |

Call the police station and ask to speak with the officer who wrote the ticket or take it to court. |

watch? time vs. distance? If he knew the distance btwn to points and measured the time it took you to transit that distance your speed can be calculated. |

Completely illegible?
Put into computer and blow up to 3x size and you can probably decipher.
If that does not work, leave a message for the officer to get back with you, as to what was the other item used to clock your speed. |
