A few weeks ago I was thinking of taking out a payday loan but thankfully did not have to. Now this one company has called me 6 times in 10 min on my Cell and I asked nicely to please stop calling I am not interested, I am late with my cell so Verizon cant block the number till I pay my past due which I am praying I get the financial help for today for I have an appt in a 1/2 hour then they can block it. the guy at verizon told me to threaten to report them to the FCC but I failed to ask him how to do that. any suggestions? thanks......also No spam or scams please

Are you sure he didn't say FTC?

Federal trade comission has sway over payday lending and bad debt.

The FCC is the Federal Communications Commission. They are the ones you would contact if you had a complaint with your cell phone interfering with your radio signal or your neighbor's cordless phone interfering with your kid's walkie talkie ( or maybe that's vice versa?)

In any case, the FCC isn't going to bother with a persistent caller on your cell phone. That's a matter for local law enforcement. Since it's a local business, call the police and tell them this weirdo continues to harass you. Also contact your state Better Business Bureau and perhaps your local Chamber of Commerce. If none of them can help you, someone in those offices likely will know who can.
