Say guilty, and don't speed again. |

Well number one which is obvious, don't speed. You probably won't get out of the ticket, unless you have a good reason. |

If they caught you on radar, you're most likely boned. People usually only fight a speeding ticket when the cop only JUDGED their speed, using his eyes. |

Pay the fine and go to traffic school. |

Don't speed, or go fast enough to not get caught.
Tell the judge your speedometer is off by a little and sometimes you can't tell if you are at the right speed, and that you were going to work to save up money to get it fixed when the officer caught you.
That, or say the cop (or any car) was hanging out off the road during a turn and you couldn't see him, and you had to speed around it to avoid a collision and that is when he pulled you over.
If that isn't good enough, say that you were only going over the limit 5 but the cop got you on radar when the other car past you going 15 over and the cross section fouled up the radar and the cop thought it was you. |

If you plead "not guilty" and the cop "does" show up.
He does get paid "overtime." And we all need that.
You will, pay the fine, plus all court costs.
If he does "not show up. The judge "may" reduce the fine. |

tell them that you dropped something and when you went to pick it up off the floor of the car, you accidentally stepped harder on the accellerator causing you to go faster quickly and it was just at the worst time |

you weren't payin attention to the speed. and that yo completely deserve the ticket, but then politely ask if there's another way u can take care of it. |

Use a time machine. It's not 100%, it's very dangerous and many theories conclude that it is not possible, however it's better than paying a speeding ticket. |

Only way is if you can prove that wasn't you in the car. |

Hope that the cop doesn't show up to the trial. If he or she doesn't everything should be straight. |

If the officer isn't there plea not guilty. Say the radar was wrong and you were not going 15 mph over.
If the officer is there plea guilty, apologize, and ask if they will reduce the ticket so that it won't go on your insurance, then ask if you can do some kind of community service to pay off the ticket (washing patrol cars or something)
If you plea not guilty you're dismissed until a later date which means the officer could show up.
Fighting it with the officer there would be tough, you'd have to convince the judge the officer clocked another car, or you were in a higher speed zone than what is on the ticket.
Not impossible, usually if you show up and act respectful they're more apt to cut you some slack |

My speedometer was broken and I was heading to the garage to get it fixed and didn't realize I was speeding. lol This really happened to me and I got out of the ticket when the I showed the cop the speedometer in the back seat. Good luck fighting the ticket. A radar gun is very difficult to beat. Pay the fine and stop speeding. |

If they got u on radar then thats all the evidence they need. How are you going to dispute that. You can try and fight it with a good lawyer, but with the money you'd invest in doing all that, you could have already paid the court fine. Plus after you go to traffic school, and sucessfully complete it w/o any further offences, you don't get any points taken off your licensce. Stop speeding, its dangerous and your putting others in danger too. |

pay the fine and save yourself the court time. |

You can't plead not guilty unless you can prove it wasn't you or that you were in a life or death situation.
And if it wasn't any of the above, you shouldn't be trying to be out of it because you put lives in danger and you should pay for it. |

That you were trying to adjust and set your Cruise Control therefore your speed went up some as you were distracted with adjusting it. |

Close to impossible - seeing as how they have proof. Officer not being there won't help you in this case. Just pay the ticket - it's like what 75$ there? Go to traffic school if you have that option. |

If you were busted (and you know if you were) plea guilty abmit it was a mistake. Ask the Judge or Magistrate for defensive driving course. Most states will let you pay the court fee, take the class (usually a weekend course), then avoid tickets for whatever the probation period is. If you do, you won't get as many points and (it'll still be on your record) but wont count against you on insurance reports, etc. |

keep getting extensions until you reached the limit. by then about 5 months will have passed and the officers memory will be fuzzy. hell, he most likely wont even show. point is, it will give you time to research your case. take pictures of the location, video tape other cars in the region given the same conditions. do your homework and present a good case. be diligent. |

get a lawyer but over all its not worth it since the lawyer will cost more then the ticket but if he or she can fight it then it won't be on your record |

The officer will most likely show up, that's there job. Hopefully it's your first offense then just let the judge know you'll pay the fine but want your points back. 15 isn't even speeding to fast in my book. |

If the officer doesn't show up you get let off. This is rare because it goes against the cop. If he is there you need a lawyer unless you have proof you were not speeding. If you go there and say the cop is wrong you will lose. The state wants you to pay one way or another. A lawyer, the ticket or something else. It's a business, that's all it is. |
