How do i know what an illegal reading for drink driving would be on a breath test?

In the UK we now use a screening device that gives a reading.

The drink drive limit in the UK is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Anything over 35 is a fail and you would be arrested.

If however you went to the station and provided evidential samples that were under 40 then you'd be released without charge even if the roadside screening device ws over 35.

Well here in California it is the first question on the Drivers Test.

The correct answer is .08 if you are 21 or over.

Zero under 21.
