How do you get through it when your husband is in jail?

I shouldn't be complaining. He's seeing a judge in less than a week and will most likely be released.

But that doesn't mean this isn't hard. I just want to talk to him or see him. They won't even let me come visit because he's not in permanent custody. Then I start worrying that when he sees the judge he'll be sent back to jail. He's in there for a failure to appear charge related to a DUI.

I can't stop worrying, and I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. I can't work, or process coherent thoughts, or talk to anybody. I'm trying to be strong but I'm so worried about him and I miss him so much.

I know there must be so many people out there who have gone through this - how do you cope?

my fiancee has been in prison for 19 months and his appeal hearing is in july. i have to say its the hardest thing anyone can go through. you just have to take it one day at a time. the worring or wondering whats going on never goes away. some days are good and others you just want to crawl in a corner and die. but you get through it. good luck hope things work out for you.
