Any police car is equipped with a police version engine, always more powerful then stock engine.
Have had many police cars able to do 140+.
In the 70's had a Plymouth Satellite, 383, 425 hp police interceptor engine, use to do 150 with it only problem was no rear end on car so would always wash out at high speed into cornering. |

I've been in the business since the early 70's...... I remember a Dodge Coronet with a 440 Interceptor that during a pursuit we were at over 160 MPH....
That was F A S T !!!

That just depends on the police department. A lot of police departments use Ford Crown Victoria's with the police interceptor engine, they will top out at over 100 mph. There is also a Dodge Charger police package with a hemi V8 that will do well over 100 mph. |

face it the cop car can go any speed you are driving at to catch you LMAO obey the speed law and you wont have to find out go over the speed limit and you will get your answer firsthand lol |

It really does not matter how fast the Police cars can go. What matters is the Police Radios go much faster and you will get caught.............. |

pretty damn fast, most are (well the crown vics are called a police interceptor) they go fast cuz of a turbo engine or something along those lines. |
