How likely is it that a P.O would REQUIRE that you stay at a Salvation Army shelter instead of in Camper?

if you are on probation for a simple misdemeanor in US,, and have been sleeping in vehicle in legal area , such as parking lot or camp site..can you just give them this address?
how likely (percentage chance) is it that they would REQUIRE you go to a shelter if you are "homeless" and currently jobless?
please explain reasons.
btw, which states would be more like this than others?
why and how so?

if you 1. dont want to sleep at the shelters can they legally MAKE you go there?
in which cases?
and 2. if you cannot afford to stay there, i think the salvation army requires $50 a week?
not sure.

I stayed in a homeless shelter and im on community corrections. No they cant make you live there. But on my probation it is a necessity that you have an address they can visit (mines felony) misdemeanours are usually more low key on that kind of thing and as long as you have a phone number im sure they can let you live in the camper. You allowed yourself to be governed in their jurisdiction for probation term so they can pretty much give ya a better shelter to stay at if you don't lie the salvation army (jail). Really a homeless shelter isn't all that bad. (But I do know how hard it is to pay that rent to them while trying to build up your life again). I dont really think they will make you go to a shelter if the camper is suitable and safe. |
