How long before the FBI gets back to me?

What is the turn around time for the FBI application process? I already passed my initial exam.

The FBI has to run an extensive background check prior to hiring. Since it is likely they have many applicants and the process takes time and manpower for each applicant this is a hard question to answer. Especially so if you have lived in numerous locations because that increases the manpower requirement. One of the things you will need to be an FBI agent is patience so you may as well get used to it.

Did you take Phase 1 and pass? I passed at the end of Feb and am STILL waiting to hear about Phase 2. Another guy I took the test with is scheduled for Phase 2 in 2 weeks though.
