As they pleaded guilty that will firstly go in their favour as they have accepted and admitted to what they did. However as they are over 18 will mean that they will be tried as adults and get longer behind bars :-) If they both get convicted of first degree murder for both victims they will be put away for the minimum of 15 years and more likely 20-25. |

you say boys. It really depends on their age. If there are juvenile's then they might only get a few years and be awarded to the courts. Remember the 2 rich brothers that murdered their parents they were like 10 and 9 they were released when they reached 21 years of age. It just depends on the state and the charges. Its really sad, But they should be locked up for life or get the death penalty. Again depends on what state they are charged in. |

You can't tell as the final decision is made by the Home Secretary,the judge sets the tarriff of a lifer at sentencing,then the HS looks over it,and either confirms the tariff or raises it.
The average for a life sentence in Scotland is 13 years,but I'm not sure about England/Wales,but I'm sure it's similar! |

One would hope they would get life (which ahould mean the rest of their lives)
Realistically, they would probably get life but be out on parole in 12-15 years. |

Well, for a long time in this country they would have been hanged. Even when they revised Capital Murder under the 1957 Homicide Act, these two scrotes would still have been hanged.
Blame Harold Wilson's Labour government and their support for Sydney Silverman's private member bill that ultimately led to the end of Capital Punishment for Murder in this country, done without the support of the electorate. |
