How many of you think marijuana should be legalized?

IF they want to legalize marijuana anytime soon they could be smart about it and make it illegal so you can't grow it, you can only smoke it, they could sell packs of joints maybe 10 in a pack for like 6 dollars or something,each joint in a pack could have a gram or something, that would make the blackmarket not even want to sell weed anymore even for cheaper, think of the money people could be making, it can change the economy, more people spend money

Also..they would have to take out all the seeds in the joint rolls to make sure nobody grows, set an age limit on it, make it a law so u cant smoke and drive,they can make it so you can only smoke in the afternoon so people wouldnt go to work intoxicated, they could put a tax on it, government would be rolling in money...

i think it is time to end the hypocrisy. marijuana is no more dangerous than alcohol or tobacco - both of which are legal and proven killers

legalization would bring with it some benefits

1. all of the time and money being spent trying to stop it from being smuggled in to the country could be put to better use, maybe securing the southern border of the usa

2. all of the time and money being spent arresting and jailing citizens for smoking a little herb could be put to better use, how about feeding and housing the poor

3. if marijuana were made legal, similar to alcohol and tobacco the revenue from taxing it would far exceed the revenue from alcohol or tobacco

4. if marijuana were made legal it would be the largest cash crop in many states thereby providing substantial income and maybe allow those same states to balance their budgets

There is a state right now that is seriously considering growing weed themselves and taxing it to save their economy. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What about weed being so harmful and detrimental and destructive? What about all the people behind bars for years, just to have the law repealed and have felonys for nothing now? It goes to show you that LAWS ARE NOT ABOUT MORALITY OR WHATS RIGHT. In this case they want to repeal a law so the state can have more money. Wait, I thought weed was illegal because all the harm it did. The law isnt about whats right or wrong, its about money. All the propaganda and arrest and prison sentences and clogging the courts and the state just wants to repeal so it can have more money.

First of all tobacco is worse for you and they could just tax it. More people die everyday to drunk driving and being drunk then even close to marijuana. If they really wanted to do something just tax it make it legal. Nobody know how much stores would make if they sold it.

It should be legal just like alcohol. But, with the same laws that alcohol comes with as far as supplying to a minor, driving while under the influence etc.

I DO! I think Marijuana SHOULD be legalized, it makes people feel good, it should have rules though, (you have to be a certain age, etc.)
It also is being used to cure cancer in California, so yeah I think Marijuana should be legalized.

most def legalize it. it's not fair for an excample; 2 men go to work everyday. one man drinks. one man would like to smoke pot but cant. the man that drinks goes and gets plowed. shows up to work hungover. or possibly still intoxicated. and does poor at work. or possible put others in danger. but that man that would like to poke a couple onies at night befor he goes to sleep cant do that, and wake up the next morning feeling fine. and go to work.
