They may never ask, and shouldn't need to. You need their permission to move
And no, they can't make you stay somewhere. Oh wait, there is one place they can make you stay: jail. |

Obviously, they have a right to know where you are staying.
You should tell them when and where you are going before you move.
Generally, they will accept your move unless they feel that it is not advisable. (e.g Moving next door to the guy you beat up)
Do as they say. They are not very intelligent bunnies (would you do their job?)
You go see them when they say and you turn up on time.
Many probation officers are foreign, (Brits don't want the job) and don't understand UK culture. So just do as you are told. |
