Hi I wasn't sure that you actually had to be an age. How old are you? If your under 15 or 16 it would probably be better for your father to buy you one but if you are 17 or 18+ then I think it might be okay.

Given that you now have to be 18 to buy a knife, I should imagine 18. Although if you are using a chainsaw as part of your work or on a commercial basis you will need a licence.
There may also be laws relating to the storage/carrying of such items as they can be deemed offensive weapons when in a public place and unless you have good reason you can be arrested and the items can be subject to confiscation. |

What an odd (and somehwhat scary) question ... I wouldn't think that there would be an age limit. However, if you do attempt to purchase either of these items, especially the chainsaw, I suggest you don't wear an old goalie mask!
