It generally takes 3-4 weeks to get back blood test results. As for getting the results, you are entitled to a copy of your police report. However, you would need to wait those 3-4 weeks until the results came back to get a copy.

I would be surprised if the police will release the results of your blood test to you though it's certainly possible.

Instead, I'd recommend checking with the prosecutor's office a week or so before your initial court date.

You may also want to see if you qualify for a public defender long enough to find out whether you're better off just pleading.

Generally, one cannot a) get that information until after the arraignment, b) in a short period of time due to the delays between the blood draw, analysis and execution of blood test reports.

Perhaps try to calculate it at http://www.duilawyerorangecounty.com/orange_county_bac.html

Ask to see your report b4 you go and get a attorney. Call up the police station or city and find out how you can find out. You should ask for that type of information, unless you were too drunk to remember it. lol

Good luck with the advice you are getting here. But I can add this...

Two drinks can indeed put you at a .08 or higher BAC. It depends on a lot of factors like your weight, what the drinks were, and most importantly, how much time passed before you were tested.

Also, blood tests are more direct than breath tests and considered more reliable. In other words, they are tougher to beat in court.

Did you Refuse a breath test? Were you therefore arrested and given a blood test? These are the things that your attorney's accountant will want to know.
