Tougher and harsher penalties for those that carry firearms (not air weapons) illegally. Currently the penalty is a mandatory five years, however the offender would serve just over half of that (ridiculous I know). Come on government.... wake up!!!!! |

Forget gun crime, just punish all crime. Shoot, there is no such thing as gun crime there is only crime and to a crime victim there it really doesn't matter to them if they are killed by the use of a gun, a knife, or a car. By blaming an inanimate object rather than holding the criminal responsible for their actions totally misses the opportunity to protect society. |

Gun crime in UK is already being tackled by former gang members who visit schools telling the kids about how bad life is going to be if they get involved with guns and gun crime.
Today a woman was shot dead in Seven Oaks in Kent by the police. She threatened them with a gun. |

Enforce current laws regarding who can/can’t own a firearm. Allow law-abiding citizens to carry concealed weapons. Pretty much like anything else. Just have to enforce the laws. Anything that thinks more laws are needed is blind. Even if they took away guns completely, people would find knives. Outlaw knives, people will get bats, take away the bats, etc. etc. People have killed other people with rocks. The problem isn’t the tool, it’s the man that wields it. Deal with the human situation, and the problem with the guns will resolve itself. |

Make it illegal for any one exept the military and on duty cops to own a gun and if you are found in possesion on a gun (with or with out bullets) get a mandantory 20 years behind bars parol after 19 years . If you kill someone and get caught by what ever means (mainly ferensic and dna) you get 20 years for possession plus life for the murder with no parole |

If a criminal shoots someone or threatens someone with a gun he must get his thumbs cut off and as he keeps using a gun his fingers will be chopped one by one. In the end he will never be able to use a gun. |
