What sort of footy pitch? Wembley? You might. But the one in your local park? I think not. Really, which one? I'll look out for you on the news...

I thought this was Yahoo UK! Have you already run on the pitch or are you just planning to? What kind of level game. If it's a Sunday league game then I'd be more worried about what the players will do to you!

you get ejected and banned for life.

Depends how rich your parents are. I would say a caution & when the police are in the office they would say, 'that was f..king funny what that kid did.'

There is a specific offence under the sporting venues (football) legeslation of "pitch invasion"

It carries a hefty fine and the club will without doubt ban you for at least 2 years from its venues and eject you immediatley from where ever you are, and if you have a season ticket, they will cancel it. This info is also shared with other clubs, so you could expect a ban from them as well.

Is it worth it ???

Depends which place and what the results are if there is a public incident because of your conduct you could be arrested and charged if you are apprehended quickly you would be thrown out and banned either way ypour parents would be informed.

I think the judge will be donning the black cap for this crime!

yes a footy pitch - you can ask this question anywhere just to reply to the first user. Why are you denying his free speech?

Expect a caution and learn from it cos one day you may be excluded from the top jobs

You will probably be let off with a fortnight holiday in Safari with all expences paid trips to any other place in the world you care to visit while you're there... at the expence of everyone who works hard for their pittance wages to keep 'other criminals' in 5* accommodation with colour tv, pool & gym areas (therel be ruddy saunas next!) known as UK prisons.

What would be really 'off' of you would be to explain to the Magistrates or Police next time you speak to them, that you thought it was the 'trials' for the youth football team and were showing off ; OR you thought there were 'scouts' there and were letting them see how well you play; OR you were trying to run after the ball cos you thought it looked a little flat, only you left the pump in the terraces with your mates.

Joking aside, though trivial, its perhaps not that much of a law break at the end of the day. I hope you dont further your criminal career by becoming an older one that ends up in one of those hotels I mentioned above...that wouldnt be right.
So FINISH this 'trend' here and now.

Concentrate on your school work, get some good qualifications, a good job, and do well.
THATS IMPORTANT

This used to be just a caution thing, but I've heard recently that folk who run out on the footy pitch now get a fine. Not sure just how much. In any event, as far as I know, you will probably have to go up before the magister [magistrate] who will huff and puff and tell you something along the lines of 'this yob culture, blah blah, is getting out of hand. Got to make an example, blah, fine £5.00 plus 90 minutes community service
picking up rubbish dropped during the game at your fave footy pitch.

Take it easy. You are not a villain. Not yet anyway, just excited. Something happened on the footy pitch and it made you react. You are not usually like this, but got carried away, etc.

The last para is probably how the 'beak' will see it. So no worries mate.
