I was arrested after hitting a parked car. I'm 19 years old, don't have a licence and I'm ilegal. I have a court day, but I don't know what's gonna happen or what I'm gonna have to do. I was told that I have to attend to some classes. Any legal information is appreciated.

It depends on where you live. Here you have to pay drivers responsibility fees for 2 years, either 500 per year or 1000 per year for a second offense. Also you will probably be prohibited from getting your license for a while. You are looking at a lot of court costs and fees, and probation costs if you get probabtion. You better get a lawyer if you can afford it instead of a court appointed. |
