I'm being stalked by a cop!!!?

I was pulled over by a sheriff's deputy for a minor traffic violation the other day, and she almost immediately began accusing me of bizarre things (driving with my seatbelt off, lying to her about SOMETHING but she wouldn't say what...), and she interrogated me about where I was going, where I had been earlier, and why. It was scary as hell. Afterward, she followed me to a store and when I encountered her, I said I thought she was a little out of line, and she replied, 'Shut up, or I'll find something else to charge you with!' She has driven through the office parking lot here at work now several times! Is there anything I can do to get her evaluated by her boss or something? She's INSANE!!! I'm terrified she's going to plant evidence or even shoot me and then claim I threatened her. Please help.

Edit: I hadn't even committed the traffic violation she accused me of and then ticketed me for, either!

I would file a complaint against her at the police dept. She will then be under review and if she goes near you again or accuses you of anything it will be on file that she is harrassing you and you will have the dept on your side and not hers.

Also you should get a court date for those false allegations of tickets and fight her in court. 8 out of 10 times the cops don't even show up and so you win. If she fights you in court you can explain to the judge that she has been rash to you and you have encountered her too many times to be mere chance and that you have filed a complaint against her.

Get yourself a tape recorder or a camera and document everything than report her once you have enough evidence Its not her job to harrass you when she can be out picking up real criminals

WOW--- get her name and attach it in this very question, print it out, and send it to the main sherrif and constable and go to the main police station and report this individual!!!

Go and file a report at the police station and say that you feel threatened. Or call a lawyer and ask. This is bizarre if this is really true.

That's certainly creepy. You can try calling the station and let them know what's going on but you need to gather as much evidence and witnesses as possible because it's your word against hers and when she claims that you are harrassing her, it's not going to end in your favor. Forget about the ticket and her supervisor. Go straight to internal affairs. They'll handle it all from there. What county and state are you in? Maybe I can help. IM or e-mail me.

Cops are human too.. Some good, some bad.
Report her to the Sheriff's office, and insist on filling out a complaint, then make sure you get a copy. That way you will have proof should the situation continue.

What you need to do it go to the station and ask to talk to a supervisor, i.e. a sergeant or a lieutenant. Every police department and sheriff's office has either an internal affairs or professional standards division. They will be the ones who would investigate any misconduct by a police officer.

Talk to the sheriff, if that doesn't do anything consult a lawyer. Not sure but you may have a case for harassment.

If she's a Sheriff's Deputy, then go to the City Police or the State Police and Swear out a complaint. Sometimes getting another law enforcement agency to investigate is what I've seen in the news.
