maybe for the tactical unit, i already have schooling for criminal justice and plan to have at least my 4 year degree in criminal justice before getting out of the military, is this a good start to getting into these fields??

Yes that is a good start. You dont have to major in CJ to be in Law Enforcement though and I suggest you dont. If you want FBI than major in a language or computers, finance, accounting. For SWAT after the military you will just have to join a large police dept with a swat team and be a patrol officer for years until you can get SWAT.
