I am currently in the process of joining the border patrol if i fail can i still re-apply?

Okay well i passed the Entrance exam and now i got the oral board interview looming. I am confident i can pass the interview. However i am 19 and only have 2 years of experience flippin burger and about 40 semester credits of college. and on top of that i got 3 sppeding violations and a credit score of 520 that i recently started to fix. I am starting to doubt that i will get hired. I already turned in the paper work for the backround chek. can i post pone the interview for like a year? or if don;t pass bc of the backround chek can i reapply?? Do i have to take the test again?? thanks for any help

You are an ideal person for them. LITTLE to no background check. Expect to breexe through the hiring process at this point. Younger guys get in quicker. My brother is an Agent for CBP. I took the test in Jan and failed. I'm retaking it in April. Wisjh me luck! and Good luck to you.
