from 1996 - 1998 I committed various offenses such as making false statements on my vehicle registration and I failed to report an accident in 1998 and I am positive I made a false statement on an application for insurance coverage. I also drove with out insurance for several years....I have since of course changed my behaviour to a law abiding driver....My conscience is unclear....I am not sure who to confess to to ease my feelings of guilt about lying during those years. Should I just go to the police and tell them everything i ever did...or should I just ask God for forgiveness and now that those lieing ways are in my past. and to live an honest law-abiding life going forward. There are no statute of limitations where I live....

You do not need to confess to anybody.
Ask God for forgiveness and try not to repeat your mistakes.
If you go to the police now you will just waste their time because there is nothing they can do about it. These are small infringements which many people make.
Don't worry about it too much. |

I'm not of driving age yet, but if you're asking people, that means you feel guilty.
You probably would rather not feel like a liar for the rest of your life than have a clean record.
But do whatever you think you should!

No one ever changes. You'll eventually go back to being a liar so don't bother asking for forgiveness or telling the police. |
