I don't respect cops, I just don't?

When I was in high school my parents told me that if I got 2 tickets then they would ground me until I graduated (1 to learn my lesson, 2 to teach me one) but this puts it at a new level.

Cops have a job to do. Stop speeding. 23 tickets doesn't mean cops have it in for you, it means you're a menace.

If you want to go 5mph over the limit, do it on the freeway with everyone else.

If it is no big deal for you to go 5 mph over the limit then why are you doing it? How much time are you really saving?

Most police officers don't pull people over for five over anyhowâ€”I kind of doubt that's what you were doing anyhowâ€”unless it's a school-crossing area or somewhere else where safety is an even bigger factor than normal.

See how much you don't respect cops when they have to respond to your house being burglarized or a loved one murdered or something.

You break the law, and for some reason, it's the police's fault?

Last time I checked, if the speed limit was 30, it means that you are in violation of the law if you go faster then 30.

just what would you do if someone was speeding and the cop didnt do their job and stop them and then 5 min down the road hit you in an accident and your passenger died. would you be pissed at the person that hit you or at the officer that didnt stop them?? both? that is why they do their job, im sure they had a reason for the stop.

be thank ful they are doing their job instead of nothing.

Well, when you need a police officer because you were burglarized, robbed, stolen vehicle, etc., then you better not call the cops since you do not respect them!

Of course, when some idiot ^^^ breaks the law, they think the police stinks, but sure as hell when they need the police, they will call them in a heart beat.

I suggest STOP breaking the damn law!!!!

You have to follow the limit. It may seem a bit arbitrary, and it is, but they have to draw the line somewhere. If it's OK to go 5 over, then why not 10? Why not 15?

You've received 23 tickets... you really should get the message by now.

If you have 23 tickets, then you must be going more than 5 miles over the speed limit. SLOW DA HELL DOWN and you won't get a ticket!

first off, don't butter up the speed
second off, just think one day you going five mile over the speed limit and it was dark, and then outta no where a little kid came out and is in the middle of the road, you hit him ,he or she dies, would you feel better if you going five mph less and that same kid was in the road, and you hit him. he or she lives....

all the police is trying to do is enforce the law, to protect life and order, and speeding is risking you life.

Well, speeding they need to pull you over its their job. But, what my cousin did cause he got alot of tickets he got a radar detector and it detects the cops radar and he hasnt got a ticket since he got it

I have no respect for them either. How can they expect respect when they dont give it, or when they give senior citizens a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt or a license plate lite out?
