it depends what did you lie about? your name or just where you lived?
if you gave false name, than whoever you gave the cops will be in trouble for missing court, and a warrent will be issued. if you just gave a false address, you gotta go to court, or a warrent will be issued. dont lie to the cops, it's better for you in the long run. |

i'm so confused about your statement. did you provide info and the cop gave you a ticket with the info that you gave him? if so, that person is expected to appear in court, and if you don't go, a warrant will be issued. you see where this can go. if he really just let you go without a ticket and only gave you a warning, don't worry. just quit lying and start abiding by the law. |

Don't worry I just did the same thing today. Caught skipping class! I have court on march 10, 2011. I have read in Texas the fine can go from $50-$500. I gave faulse info at first but I told him the truth after. I am only 15 and I was lucky cause if I was 17 then I would be in jail. Just be honest next time. |
