I got a misdeamenor warrant in california and live in arizona would i get arrested if i get pulled over?

If California wants you yes, you will be arrested and put in jail till they come and get you. Take care of the warrant then you won't have to worry.

You get stopped, they run you for Wants and Warrants, they get a hit. Then they call the ORI Originating Agency and ask them if they are willing to extridite. That means coming to Arizona for a hearing.

No, they will tell you to take care of the warrant. The state of California will suspend your driving privileges for a warrant, If I were you I would pay the fine and it resolved ASAP. No state will take the time or money to extradite you for a misdeamenor, too much paper work.

yes. you will get arrest, but you will have a chance to post bond. best solution: post your bond and take care of your charge in california.

Yes you would. If you have a warrant anywhere, the police everywhere get that information when they run your license or license plate of your vehicle regardless of the states. Communication is great these days.
Note: You might only be detained however. People are half right who say no you won't be. You will be formally arrested for the warrant but if california decides not to bother with you, you'll be released later. This is after you get taken to the station and booked and processed and your car has already been towed. My suggestion, take care of the warrant so as to avoid the inconviniance.

If you get pulled over and they see you have a warrant they can take you in.

IF the entering agency in CA was interested in extradition, they would enter the warrant into NCIC so that it could be called up in AZ. The agency in AZ would then call the issuing agency to "confirm" the warrant and extradition. IF and it's a big "if") the issuing agency still wants to come and get the defendant, the contacting agency will arrest and hold the defendant on the warrant.

That being said, it is highly unlikely that an agency in CA will go to AZ on a misdemeanor warrant. However, having a warrant can result in a loss of a driver's license, lack of job opportunity, inability to access government aid and loans, and generally cause all manner of problems.

Probably not, they pretty much only extradite out of state for felonies.
