I got a speeding ticket @ 930pm. The cop was driving in the center divider in front of me he was moving slo?

He was driving slowly in fornt and said he I was going 46 in a 30 zone. The ticket is a 22350cvc basic speed law. Do police vehicles have radars in back of vehicle? Also officer did not circle misdermenor of infraction and also did not check box of correctable violation. Can I fight this ticket?

Speeding tickets are written because the offense in unreasonable and imprudent. There are rear radars in the back of patrol elements. If something isn't checked on the ticket, it doesn't change the offense. You are still responsible for the offense.
If you think you can get out of it by going to court, then request a court date. Don't request one based on the hope that the officer will not show up. Officers in most departments need a very good reason for missing court. In 20 years, I have never missed a court date. I have gone when I had the flu. Not to fight the citizen, but so I would not get in trouble myself. |

I would never recommend outright paying a ticket. I would request(if you can) that the officer be present and provide proof of the infraction and ask why certain things are missing on the ticket. A closed mouth doesnt get fed! |

If you want to fight it then that is your right. But minor clerical errors aren't going to help you. |
