I got a ticket and I cant go to court class I don't know what to say?

i was tired i was doing some job hunting my eyes were hurting my contacts were dry and i wanted to go home i was in valencia ca
i was on the left lane about to turn left and go on the highway then i got pulled over for failure to stop at red arrow
every thing happened so fast then the cop pulled me over he asked about my vision i told him i were contacts he said every thing else was fine then he gave me this paper to sign he didn't tell me that sign this is not an admission of gulit he told me that it was a ticket after i singed it
i live with my parents and i have been unemployed for 7 months i cant afford this ticket my parents are paying my car insurance and it's already highy and i gota ticket last august i dont need any more point what should i do

I recommend that yoiu hire an attorney to defend you.

It sounds to me as if the sun probably blinded you temporarily and interfered with your vision.

I would take that to a jury trial.

Every member of a jury has had that experience at one time or another.

Do not attempt to defend this on your own, You will lose if you do.

You definitely need an attorney who has successful experience defending traffic tickets.

If you are unemployed and can't afford the ticket, then you won't be able to afford an attorney either. I disagree on taking it to court. That will only cost you more.

You weren't duped by the officer. Signing the ticket, keeps him from having to arrest you. It was in your best interest to do so. But signing doesn't admit or deny your guilt. It merely says you acknowlege receipt of the citation.

Excuses about your contacts and tired eyes aren't going to get you off on this one. Let the court know of your financial situation and perhaps they'll let you make payments. Every jurisdiction is different.

Ask mom and dad to pay the ticket, then clean the house to thank them. If you don't pay this or do as the court says, you could loose your privilege to operate a motor vehicle. You could go to jail.

i lived in Valencia for years and if you saw a red arrow then you should give your drivers license to the court and pay the fine. many Californians are killed each year because they fail to stop at red lights and stop signs and fail to yield right of way California has no red arrows.
