first of all you need to get one and have it when you go to court. This will save you big bucks.
second, in this state it is 187.00 plus court of 80.00 bucks. if you don't have it the day of court.
third if you had just lost it and needed to get it replaced, you can do that and take it into court. most judges will tell you have a good day and don't loose it again.
good luck and

Generally: 90 days in prison-subsequent cases to one year
-$150.00 to $250.00 subsequent cases $250.00 -$600.00. |

I believe it would depend on what state you are in (assuming USA), and if you meant no license or a suspended one or other techincal details.
You should be able to find the penalties online if you type in your state name and "no drivers license penalties".
Here is the chart for Connecticut for a guideline: http://www.cga.ct.gov/2006/rpt/2006-R-0072.htm
It's not the fine that you should worry about most, but the possible local jail (VERY RARE unless its aggrevated or not 1st time) or a very long (1yr) license suspension. If you can afford it, you may want to obtain a lawyer, as I know people who have gotten off the charge on technicalities with a lawyers assistance. Call around and ask what different ones rates are - most have a flat fee for such cases, and depending on your situation (like if you absolutley must be able to drive for work, kids, ill family, etc), it may be worth it. The initial consultation in person with the lawyer should be free - ask on the phone. |

It depends on where you are from. I live in Queensland Australia and was fined $150 for the same thing a month ago. |

It's different for each city, you'll have to contact the municipal court and ask how much the fine will be. Most of the time you'll be fined less if you go out get your license and bring proof to the court. |

There is a number on the back of the ticket to find out what the fine is. Call them and give them the citation number |

Well it depends on what state you live in, but you can probably expect at least $300 and probably suspending your license for a long time. if you were driving on a suspended license your find will probably be more. |
