The answer to this question can be found on the Department of Justice website. They do a census every few years asking police agencys to sumbit how many sworn officers they have.
As of 2004 there were 836,787 police officers. This is federal, state, local, sheriff,...
Im not sure after how many years it gets updated. Its probably around evey 3 years or so. |

Too many times one billion! Even one of them is too many! What good are they anyway? If they were all to go on strike for a year the world would probably improve! Just like in CA. when the doctors went on strike for one or two weeks and the number of deaths dropped to almost zero! |
