I got pulled over the other day while riding my bike and I got three tickets. The tickets are as followed: 1. no classification M licence for operating a motorcycle. 2. Speeding going 88 on a 65 and 3. No proof of insurance. I do got a permit to ride my bike but as long as im with another rider who has a license. and i do got proof of insurance but just not on me at that time. But the problem is my friend who was riding with me at the time missed the exit that I wanted him to take and i didnt have time to steer out of the lane to follow him so i was left on my own driving back home. And thats when i got pulled over. I feel like if i contest this I may get the insurance/license tickets dropped. I got court a month from now on April 24. What do my chances look like and what advice can you tell me. Id greatly appreciate it. This is my first motorcycle offense and i live in the state of illinois if this my have any relevance.

Dude,
1) slow down
2) you have a permit. Not a motorcycle classification.
3) when you go to court. take your insurance card with you. If the judge is nice. He might dismiss no insurance proof.
4) your auto / motor insurance might go up. |

Pay the tickets, there's no way around it. If you explain to the
judge that this is your first offense and you're not doing again
he might reduce the amount you have to pay.
Use proper grammar in front of the judge ( No "I do got"). |
