I hate black people! Can anyone convince me otherwise ?

You sound like you got some issues to me. Never betray your own kind . I see you as a Sellout and I'm not even black.
The black people of America are the most accepting people on earth, yet they are most discriminated againts. You think racism is dead? Just look around you and read stuff on Yahoo answers and you will find out that there is a whole bunch of racism beneath the surface.
Just because you live in a white neighborhood, and do not like Colt 45, and you vote republican does not mean you are white. One day when you get kicked to the ground it will the same black people that you despise to help you back up brother! I have a lot of respect for the black people of America and what they have been through.
You remind me off the David Chapelle episode, the one were he was a Blind KKK member. You are blind to just look in the mirror.

i think you stated it wrong its not that you hate black people as you said yourself you like being black and you certainly dont hate yourself you just hate the ones that have a negative impact in life which arnt all black people!

What I am reading is more of a result of a culture and mindset, which usually starts in the home. Granted, some are using the race card.

People are a product of their environment, both good and bad. It is great that you have resisted becoming negative and recognizing that you are responsible for your own actions.

The "ghetto" black people you refer to are just a portion of the black population. Really what you are seeing is fear by these people, and it is not just blacks; all races suffer from it.

These people belittle others who are trying to better themselves because they are envious and afraid, they'd rather drag someone down with them then try to pull themselves up.

All races have portion of their population that is embarrassing to the rest. Try to look past the race and just recognize that there are negative and positive human beings... be positive.

By the way, I'm glad you got your dog back.

Your hatred is more towards your maid than towards your own race. I agree that some like to give that negative"it cuz im black" statement sometimes but not everyone in the ghetto behaves like that.

Im a black woman and i dont feel that because ur maid stole ur dog u need to characterize everyone and have hatred for blacks.

I think the reason why black folks tend to act the way you described comes from 2 things:

1.) Being poor which is a symptom of a lack of good education in predominantly black neighborhoods and straight up neglect by the lawmakers in this country who'd rather try to sweep em under the rug instead of trying to fix the socio-economical problems in this country.

2.) The hip-hop and rap scene tends to glorify all sorts of crime and/or violence. (well maybe not so much hip-hop)

This was a waste of a question. I'm black and I hate ghetto people also. But sadly we have to live with 80% of our kind acting ghetto which then reflects on us as a whole race. Then we have the white people (especially on this board) acting like every black person has the same problem. God......

No one is going to convince you of anything. Only you will convince yourself that hating anyone just makes you hateful, period; despite your misfortunes and narrow observations (no offense intended.) In my opinion, true hatred in your heart will never lead to anything positive.

I'll offer you this, understand your race, educate yourself on black history from as many sources as possible. Trace all the steps from the middle passages on to today. Try to reconstruct what it means to be black in America. I'm not making any excuses for anyone individual or group, we're taking about a race.

Then when you're done, ask yourself again. Do you really hate black people? Or do you hate what some black people do?

P.S. I'll take your word for it; that you're not a racist however; you can't separate yourself from your race no matter how hard you try. I think Black is beautiful, and so is white and everything in between.
