you should definitely file a complaint... he wasted your time by pulling you over and bullying you... cops are not above the law, they need to obey the law too, and set an example... i'd follow through with it if it were me... good luck!!

I would let it go since the cop let it go. Cops have a tough job, get little appreciation for their work, and are often characterized by the few bad apples that exploit their position as cops. They usually give speeders and other minor law breakers slack. You should give them a little slack for minor incidents too.

Traffic laws DO NOT give the right of way to anyone other than an emergency vehicle.

At a 4 way stop, the law says 'the driver shall yield to the vehicle on the right",,,, but it DOES NOT give you the right of way.

Obviously, your hatred for law enforcement is much deeper than this one traffic stop and nothing I, or anyone else, can say that would change that.

Let it go, its no biggie. He prob just made the mistake, I doubt he deliberately just went "oh I'm a cop so I'm going to barge through and cause a potential accident".

He was in the wrong, but everyone makes mistakes. He probably should not have pulled you over though, unless it was for something else.

Hope he said sorry to you too.

PS: Don't hate cops just cause of this little incident. Your going to call on one some day and you will thank God they are there to help.

I would let it go....your not going to win....maybe he just pulled you over because he thought that you were cute, and he wanted to talk to you !!!!!!! Or it could be that just like in sports, an empire sees something one way and we the spectators see it another way !!!!!!!

Let it go. The last thing you want to do is bring yourself to their attention in a negative light. You piss them off enough, who knows what they'll do. They don't have to obey the laws. Who's going to arrest them? Their buddies?

Yeah, the police do get a little cavelier with traffic laws. I know of one that used to regularly leave his cruiser in a spot clearly marked no parking for the night (he had a nearby apartment). I parked there once and got a ticket (not by him but by the regular ticket lady).

Still, it was the NYFD and NYPD that headed into the flames, not you or me!

If I were you, if there is a witness I would report the cop. If not, it's just your word against his/hers, and I would probably still report him/her, the important thing is to think through your reason for reporting. If it's because you think the cop acted inappropriately or endangerd you or anyone else, and did not show concern, then that's a good reason. If, on the other hand, the cop was apologetic and appropriate and there was a good reason, then I would let it go, everyone makes mistakes.

i would because he is not following the RULES OF THE LAW. and its not like they hade there siren on not to stop. the same thing basically happend to my sister. it was beacuse she went around some wrinkly odd *** police on a motor cycle but she didnt get fined for it . Some police think that they can do any thing because they have the athority.

let it go...total misery for u if u follow through..u will be labeled. I was with my kids and stopped at a stop sign in a devoloping neighborhood that had no houses around for blocks...I stopped..oh my bad 5" past the sign he said and gave me a ticket...my kids were like what...? my daddy stopped:)

Definitely file charges, or if you remember his number report it. Cops (especially in my area where they have 2007 Dodge Charger police vehicles) are always abusing their power. It's hard to keep track of it all because the corruption goes all the way to the top.

I'm not fond of cops myself. Just bump "**** the police" by NWA
