for the ticket until 2 days after the court date. Will the judge allow me to plead guilty, and pay the fine two days later?

First of all if you took the issue to court I would hope your plan is NOT to plead guilty...
But if it is determined that you must pay the fine then I'm pretty sure you will have ample time to tender the fee. Could be any where from 30 days to 3 months. |

State your "hardship" needs at trial & they usually work with you to give payment plans. |

Yeah all courts let you make payments...I do on mine $50 a month. You will be okay, but DO NOT ever plead guilty, plead no contest, it just means that you acknowledgeing the ticket and you where there but your not saying your innocent or guilty, all it does is make your fine less expensive. I do it with all my cases. |

If you are going to court, the object is to plead not guilty otherwise you wouldnt go and just pay the ticket. Most of the time if you go to court the fine will be reduced, thrown out, or you the judge will make you pay an amount to charity immediately which will usually eliminate points on your license. If you know that you will be found guilty, I probably would not go to court, send a check on the court date that way it wont hit the account until you have the funds and you can call the court and cancel the date - just tell them the check is in the mail. |
