I have a question of a misdemeanor in california!?

My boyfriend was pulled over 4/9/09. The cops found that he had 2 warrants on him for his arrest for not paying prioir tickets. On friday he saw the judege and gave him 50 days which the sheriff said is half time 25 days. I spoke to the sheriff and he said he has to go to court again for the next warrant. How long will he be at the county jail. He is in the inmate reception center as of right now. Can someone help how the men jail work.

**** he can do 25days and get out depending on the charge of the other warrant. he should go to court on tuesday if he does go monday check out lasd.org go to inmate locator and input his info his next court date might come up with the one he just had!

Well, I can tell you this. I seriously doubt the two warrants were for nothing more than unpaid traffic tickets. If they were, b/f certainly would not have been sent to jail for 50 days. Most unpaid ticket warrants allow "bail forfeiture," meaning you simply pay the fine due, and nothing else happens.

My guess is that b/f was wanted for something a bit more serious than unpaid traffic tickets. You may want to do a little research. Unless you really don't care what kind of guy b/f really is.
