First of all, make your mind up: Are you ANDREW or are you a FEMALE. Then when you've sorted that one out, look at the warrant and see how THEY spell it - then ask yourself WHY YOU DIDN'T GO TO COURT IN THE FIRST PLACE - then GO to your nearest police station and give yourself up before THEY find YOU. |

they will get you in the end, may as well go and turn yourself in, stops them having the last laugh by handcuffing you in the middle of the high street with everybody staring and laughing at you, if you can take your solicitor with you |

Yes. Hand yourself in. Quite simple really. |

You need to get a lawyer to get the warrant removed and get another court date. It will be almost impossible for you to do that on your own and if you go in, they will arrest you. The other option is to do just that and then go before the judge. |

If there is a warrant out for your arrest then the best thing to do is go to your local police station as soon as possible.
If you dont then you will be 'on the run' and will possibly get in more trouble because of that. |

I'd suggest you take the time that you're on the run and go to school and learn how to write like someone past the first grade. You've got a life of being locked up, you might as well learn how to write like a person instead of a drunk monkey. "wats" is not a word, moron. |

Make a deal with them.
Tell them that you will go back to School and re take Primary School English...
Or, like TSCouriers said, you shouldn't delay it any further and just explain that it was a misunderstanding. |

Go to court next time you are summoned. |

Go to the Iraqi Embassy and seek political asylum. You could go to Iraq and live off benefits - or sorry they don't do benefits there. Iran might take you too but I don't think they do benefits either. Go to England - England does benefits or NI or Wales. If you want to be daring go to the Republic of Ireland. |

my advice to you is get in touch with a solicitor they are the only people that will be able to help you in your situation. Or go to the police station around 11pm. Make sure you takes some bits with you, mags, food, drink stuff like that you got to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The reason you should go so late is because you wont have to wait to long for court the next morning. |

Get a solicitor and hand yourself in, morning would be best so it gives them all day to process you and give you a new court date.
Other than handing yourself in there isn't much you can do, it's not going to go away |

The warrant was issued because you showed contempt of the Court by not answeing the summons. The Police can trace your address through your National Insurance number, so you can't hide. it is better if you go to the Police and tell them there is a warrant for your arrest. |

Saw your earlier post about what is best time of day. Am not from Scotland, but I would sure suggest first thing in moring, cause that gives all day to organize any lawyers, hearings, possibly get you back out on bail or something before having to spend a night there - Unless warrant is for serious crime and then - don't know. |

What?: Turn yourself in.
When?: Now, asap.
What have we learnt?: When told to appear in court, appear in court. |

Go to the police station and tell them why you didn't appear in court - and turn up next time. They take a dim view of 'no shows' |

its down to damage limitation ,the best idea is turn yourself in instead of waiting for the inevitable it will be easier on you if you turn yourself in. |

Hand yourself in at local Police station and try to claim it was a genuine error.
The longer you leave it the worse it will get as you are now on the run and making it more likely that you will do time when they do get you. |

if its a serious charge and you are looking at remand then call a brief and let him sort it, at least it will come off your sentence! if its minor then go in late at night after a few beers, get some kip and the most you will get is a fine or a day in prison which you already served in the cells, just tell the court it was a genuine mistake, confused dates or whatever. I have 8 failing to surrenders on my record so far and have never been jailed for it so dont worry! |
