I just got misdemeanor citation for petty theft under 25 dollars. What'll likely happen?

Seemingly, the place just wanted to find a reason to get rid of me after I had already put my 2 weeks notice. Unfortunately, one of the things I confessed to "stealing" I wasn't even sure of, and said it out of pressure. Am i likely to just get a slap on the wrist?

usualy under 50 dollard its only an infraction...over 50 its a misdeminor...it will stay in your record though..either one ..ask an attornie if the district attorney will drop the charges..good luck |
