There may be no way to prove it 100%, but how about keep your atm card on you at all times instead of your bag and that way you don't have to worry about it anymore. |
|

I don't believe it!
 |
With great difficulty I would say.
And maybe you shouldn't leave your ATM card around for people to take it. |

Read the answers you got the first time you asked. |

You need to get the Police involved. there may be cameras around the atm in other shops or even in public that may have the thief in the act. |

Well all I can say is that he must be very clever, if someoe was taking anything out of my purse at work I sure would notice!
how did this happen over a period of a year! Without you thinking oh I might make sure i now have my purse in my pocket!
Don't wish to criticise, but no you won't be able to prove it!
AND ATM's that I know of now have CCTV. So maybe speak to your bank and they can determine what time the card was used etc. |

Sounds like you won't find a way to prove it. Is there anyway you can get hold of his ATM card? joking. |

Honestly the cheek of some people!! He should be arrested and put away for those disgusting acts. I hope you do find a way of proving what he has done. |

I doubt there's much you can do about the past. you can simply prevent it happening again. |

If you are adamant it is him, then all you can do is go to the police and report it. If nothing else, he will be questioned and it will stop him doing it again. Unfortunately, without hard evidence I dont think the police will be able to do anything other than question him and hope that he owns up to it. Without proof and if he denies it, then it is his word against yours which doesn't count for much unfortunately. Good luck, I hope it is sorted out for you. |

This is interesting, how much did he steak? I can't believe someone had the audacity to do that.
Although you are sure it is him, it is very often when people are sure about something only to find out they are wrong.
You could set up a trap. Maybe leave your card around completely clean of fingerprints and then when he takes it you will be able to complain although you would probably need to get police permission to do this. Or set up a camera near your desk.
Or at the Christmas works do you could try and get him really drunk and laugh with him and get him to confess with a tape recorder in your pocket. |

As far as I can see you have three options:
1. get your card checked for fingerprints (highly unlikely though)
2. put a moustrap in your handbag and just leave it "lying about" (might make you feel better even if you dont recoup the money)
3. Keep a close eye on your cards in future (and guard your PIN too) |

wow what a bad situation!!!!
I think the only way is to catch him in the act!!
Maybe you need to set him up......leave your bag available for him to go in ..............as break time comes check for your card if its missing go and monitor the cash machine from a distance and wait for him to strike...........then confront him.
Or get a hidden camera installed without peoples knoledge and film him in your bag.............thats enough for at least the sack.. |

report it !!! |

When this happened the first time, you should have taken steps to prevent it happening again, regardless of what evidence was and wasn't available.
The first step was to change your pin number and the second step was not to leave your card where it was accessible.
How did the person know your pin number in the first place? How many withdrawals were made? Was this reported to the police? How was the CCTV footage allowed to expire?
It would appear that any opportunity to seize evidence has been missed. What have the police to say about this? You make no mention of reporting it? |

are there not any cameras outside the bank anywhere that may have footage?
Have you thought about seting them up and using a strategically placed camera to catch them in the act?
You have to have evidence or there is not really anything you can do about it. |

Cut your card up and get a new bank account, once you get the card put it in a plastic bag, make sure you dont touch it and get it tested.
Explain this to the police and see if you can get him in action. |

I find you rather remiss not to have taken action on this before now, and certainly answers, is not the venue to do so,
We have in this country a police force, one of the best if not the best,Go. ASAP> |

Follow him, catch him in the act.
You can even record him as you follow him.
Plus his finger prints should be on the card, you could try to get the police involved.
Or buy one of those mini camaras, that looks like a pen, and put it in your pocket book.
You can buy them here - http://www.nextag.com/pen-camera/search-html
or even on ebay. |

Don't know, but why aren't you keeping that locked? |

Why do you leave cards lying around? You should have lockers or something installed in your office. |
