I need help please?????

My now ex bf claimed he filed a harassment report on me. The story in a nutshell..when i was w/ him, he mentally abused me, he made constant threats of suicide, only wanted my help, whenever I told him to get prof help, he said he would do it. He lied to me about having a baby w/a one night stand, after helping him,he ended our relationship to be with the mother, I found this out while in the hospital sick and having to have surgery.Ironically, I had to get therapy. Because come to find out he is not who he says he is. I found out more lies, how he met girls in chatrooms, he did the suicide thing to another girl, but she was smart enough to call the police and he told them she was went crazy over thier breakup. Anyhow, I feel I had a right to know who I really was dealing with for two years, I feel he playedmind games withme. So I did my own research and all the lies came to surface. I got so angry I called him and told him I knew everything as far as what he's all about.

Well, he emailed me andclaimed he filed a complaint against me. He lives in NY, I live in another state. My brother knows epople down at our police dept and someone told him it wasnt accurate and he has to come to cT and file a complaint in person. I am fed up w/ this guys's manipulative ways. I will not contact him anymore. But what rights do I have?????

Call his bluff. In the meantime consult with a lawyer and explain everything to him. YOU might be able to file a complaint against you ex and prevent him from ruining your life.

he sounds like a real piece of work, why you still thinkin about his wrongs like hes goona come strait with you, hes a nut, hell always mess with yr head,so dont even bother with him anymore. the suicide threats were just for attention anyway so cut him off, dont give him the attention he wants,he will always leech off of you everychance he gets.

Grr the best thing you can do is let it go don't call him write him email or anything I just went through the same thing recently and almost ended up dead. My ex is a psycho and he was stalking me after I broke up with him... Get out while you can and if you have to go to your local commisoners office and file for a restraining order. If he did file charges against you for harrassment it will all come out when you go to court for the restraining order but you need to protect yourself first. At least if you get the order from the judge then if he contacts you or comes to your home or work they will lock him up and if he does it enough it will be for good!

You have the right to move on with your life. If he starts harassing you, than you can file a police report on him, and press charges. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. If he filed a report on you would have received a visit or at least a call from the police department so they could get your side of the story.

Simple call your local PD to verify report. All reports are public domain. As far as whacked out bf -- run and never look back -- the good thing is you now know the truth... do what you need to do to heal -- no shame in getting help!!

goto your local police dept. and file an order of protection on him. those have different expiration times on them; months, yearly...etc. which can also be renew. Don't have to tell him either nor will the P.D. notify him. next time he shows up in the area just call the police and the will lock him up for violating order of protection.

You need to separate yourself from this person and any people like this person. Just like anyone else, you don't need all this drama in your life.
If you are the kind of person that enjoys drama, then by all means, continue trying to "research" about his past.
I think that the best thing for you to do is put this behind you, don't talk to him, answer his phone calls or anything else. If what he says is true and he did file a harrassment claim on you (which I doubt he actually did), then you have all the defense you need in that you have cut all contact with this loser and don't wish to have any part of that kind of life.

Dump the turkey, he isn't worth the trouble. Maybe you need to pick up nicer men in better places. A school classroom or church are a couple of suggestions. Why do you stay with him? You should have dumped him right as soon as he started the abuse. So part of it is your own fault for not dumping him early.

Get your life together. There is still hope.

I am not really sure of what your question is....or what you need help with....but it sounds to me like you need Jesus! Whatever the problem is...He can help you...and He will-- if you allow Him to! From what you have said here; it doesn't seem like there are any grounds for your ex boyfriend to file a harrasment report....if there were other incidences; then maybe....but not if it was just a phone call.....just be sure that you don't contact him any more...Hope this helps!
