i recently traded my cr125 to someone i met on craigslist for a 2002 blaster. i found out the engine is shot and i went to sell it on craigslist about 3 weeks after i traded the guy for it. i had it up there and someone sent me a message and said there blaster was stolen and they thought this was theres. i exchanged emails with the guy and he described a few stickers on it that were correct and thats about it. i was pretty convinced it was this guys blaster and i planned on returning it to him to avoid legal problems. i asked him if he had a title or a bill of sale and he said no title but yes he had a bill of sale. i told him to read me the vin and he said he doesnt have it. the thing is the previous seller has pics of it on craigslist from before i posted my add to sell it, and you can see the stickers in those pics. the only reason i traded it from the first guy is because he said he would mail me the title which he never did. im not trying to scam anyone but im also not trying to lose my bike or quad. what do you guys think i should do

I would call the Police Dept. and just ask them if the item had been reported stolen. or go down to the DMV you will have to request a tiltle transfer before you even try to sell it anyways or you could be held liable. Save all your e-mails and craigslist ads just in case you end up in court.
