Many codes are basic codes used within US, then other codes are adapted to each Department |

Most law enforcement in the State of Alabama utilize the same 10-codes as the Alabama State Troopers.
Many of the larger departments such as Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile, have transitioned to their own yet many of the codes are similar to the state.
Go to the web site below and you'll see half way down the page "State Police Codes" which are the currently used codes in Alabama. |
