however, I suffer from extremely bad anxiety, the thought of getting up on a stand makes me sweat and hyperventilate.. True Story :(
Can my anxiety be used as a legitimate excuse to NOT testifying?
I am located in Canada, so anyone in Law enforcement that could provide me some insight, that would be great..

You should contact the party that served the subpoena and explain to him/her your anxiety. They will likely help as they are interested in your testimony. They can determine whether your testimony is worth your anxiety, or may be able to help you overcome your anxiety. Good luck. |
