And for that matter cops KNOW that their jobs are dangerous, and some even take the job for that reason so they should have absolutely no problem dying in the line of duty.
Oh and by the way, I don't mean to not trust police officers as far as I can throw them (actually I do), but nonetheless. It's like that saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I know there are a few good cops here and there but I have seen far too many bad ones to be stupid enough to put them all in the good upstanding citizen category.

What's the question again? I guess living in a small town and working at a 911 center I have the privilege of knowing police officers that are very good ppl. I know not all of them are and some can be jack asses but for the most part they are good people. It makes me sad to see that not everyone can know them like I do. |

These guys put their lives on the line every day to protect people and deserve respect. Did you not just hear about the cop in Houston TX who was killed by an illegal immigrant?! The guy had 4 counts already against him, had been deported back to Mexico but came back in because Houston doesn't do anything about illegals. This guy served his time in the Gulf War and was a good cop. He leaves behind a loving family, especially five kids. So if you want to smell bacon, I suggest you go cook some and leave the cops alone. |
