Some people do not understand the meaning of Neighborhood Crime Watch! Partnering with local police enforcement to report witnessing crimes in act. They won't know if it's not reported. If they don't know, they can't justify the law. That can turn into a dangerous situation. Most dealers do have dangerous situations that arise if a deal not gone right. Call anonymously to your non-emergency police. If they ask for your name state you don't want to give your name for safety. State their address and state you are witnessing drug deals coming in and out. They may want you to be specific as far as what you are seeing for them to be able to decide if that is what is truly going on.

Be absolutely careful when you report anonymously. Your neighbors may automatically assume it's you or the person next to them telling on them if they police go and investigate. Don't inform anyone in your neighborhood, your friend or family that you reported it. Act dumb as if you still don't know what's going on there.

If they're not loud,rude,obnoxious,,if they don't really harrass you,if they're not harrassing your kids, if they're not stealing from you or making threats against you or your family I wouldn't risk messing with them. your name will come out on a report,or they will figure out who you are,then things could go really wrong from there

Big accusation, maybe something else. Is it just guys or gals too. U know what? best advice stay out of it. Sooner or later the cops will get wind of it, and they'll get busted.

If you merely think and have no proof, I would leave it alone, or at least until there is some kind of evidence this is actually what is happening.

If they are dealing drugs and you live right by them, they might suspect. Personally, it might not be right for me to do it, but I would mind my own business. I really don't want to be shot up.

It depends on where you live. In a lot of cities there is a community/area officer/deputy for your neighborhood. I would find out who that is, and call them. It's much more likely to result in an actual investigation, and worst case, that officer is constantly on the lookout, With increased 'attention' they very well may move.

On the other hand, most larger police precincts have 'tip' lines which offer anonymity (but even small ones have phones). If you strongly suspect them of dealing drugs, you should plan on explaining why when you call it in. Remaining anonymous will decrease your 'credibility', and therefore decrease the likelihood of the police actually doing anything other than noting it (after all, you could be a vindictive ex).

Then you can relax knowing that you've done your civil duty to make your neighborhood a bit safer (maybe!). I definitely wouldn't investigate/spy/record, because at best you are being a nosy and bad neighbor, at worst, you are putting yourself and family at risk. Let the police do their job.

Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. The real issue is whether you have proof or not. Either way I would still call the authorities.

i would call 911 tell them that you suspect drug selling or say you heard screams. but make sure that's the case before all hell break out.
