I want to get home department or Secretariat seal of gurgaon in the police clearance certificate?

police clearance certificate is issued by gurgaon police dept, but i need home department or Secretariat seal in that for the immigration purpose,
Kindly let me know how to get that ?

The police functions under the Home Ministry of a state. Thus a certificate of clearance issued by the police is as good as one issued by the Home Ministry of the concerned state. In case that is not sufficient for you, apply to the Uttar Pradesh Home Ministry to issue a clearance certificate, enclosing therewith the Gurgaon police clearance certificate or a true copy thereof. You should also explain in your application as to why you require a clearance from the Home Ministry. The Ministry will isue a separate certificate after considering the merit of your application and making appropriate verifications. It will not put its seal on the police certificate.
