I want to play a practical joke on people in the mall is this ok?

I have seen this done, not funny, panic alarm is set and people panic at sight of blood, pass out, could get injured.
Remember one case some 25 or 27 years ago. Someone did this type of joke, an elderly woman passed out, had a mild heart attack at seeing blood, broke her hip, then sued the person for her injuries, pain suffering, hospital and attorney fees.
Pretty healthy price for a joke.

That's kinda questionable. A few other IRL trolling options might be:
-Print up a "whites only" sign and tape it to the the bathroom door
-Glue a quarter to the floor
-Leave some flyers on the benches saying if you're sick of high gas prices (or some other cause - war, whatever), visit lemonparty.org
-Go to a bookstore and move some bibles to the fiction section

I would not recommend doing it the US Postal Service does not have much of a sense of humor these days with possible terrorist activities taking place.

sounds like a very bad idea. you could be banned from your mall... and scare alot of innocent people.

Since mall is a private property, you could very easily be asked by mall management to never return to the mall. Once they do this and you show up, you could be charged with trespassing, which is a crime.

You could also be charged with disturbing the peace, or other minor charges. It will go from funny to not funny at all, and potentially be charged with crime in very short time. You will, then required to appear in court and explain yourself.

Malls are place of commerce. It is not a playground. People who has to manage it and have stores within it will not look kindly to this type of behavior.

You will regret you did this, if you do.

I think it's the most stupid idea because then they would have to let EVERY single worker know about it (which would be a waste of their time), otherwise someone would think it's real and call 911. It's seriously a waste of time and it's not a funny joke. Seriously, people will really think you're hurt and call an ambulance. Then once they find out its a joke, they'll 1, think you don't have a life and 2, might not take it serious if you, or someone else, ACTUALLY gets hurt.

this is a bad practical joke. You're going to start a commotion and maybe even an actual ambulance would come and you're going to be in big trouble. They would probably call your parents and boom grounded maybe?

I'd say you get another friend and do the "invisible rope" trick. That would be better and funnier for the both of you> search it on youtube and see how funny it is.

Given the amount of people in a mall I think at least one of them would call an ambulance, then they'd realase you aren't hurt, then they'd give a big fine, probably not a good idea.

Nope, someone could call 911, and i doubt the mall will be okay with it.

If the police or ambulance is NOT called, you'll be evicted from the mall and warned not to come back. If you do come back, you'll be arrested for trespassing. A mall is private property and they can enforce that rule.

If the police and/or ambulance IS called, you'll be arrested for creating a disturbance, face a court appearance, fine and eviction from the mall.

Someone (generally the elderly) could be sensitive to a staged violent scene like you are suggesting. If it results in a heart attack, you most likely face more serious charges. If your practical joke results in a mass stampede where people get hurt, you'll face more serious charges also.
