Me too. I was arrested for something I did not do. But regardless, what you can do is bring a case in Federal Court against the prison, perhaps the first step is to find a public attorney (for free) via the California Bar Association, they have an organization, 'Public Law Center' that supplies you with an attorney from a list of large law firms that have to do an amount of work for free every year to keep their bar status. It's called Pro-Bono. Your defendants will be the individual perpetrators and the state, assuming it was a state or county or city facility. You can easily get a million or more, stop by your local law library and read the Appellate Reviews, to see accounts of winning cases similar to yours, brought by others who were raped in jail. You don't have to tell the librarian what you are looking for, just ask for the 9th Circuit cases, or any appellate cases.
