In February I was stopped for a DUI. Today in court the charge was dropped to a DWAI, and a condition of my sentencing is that I complete 1 year of probation. My question is simply will I have to do urinalysis testing for something like marijuana? I have cut out the drinking, but from time to time I like to smoke pot. Since being arrested I have only smoked a few times, but I still worry it's going to show up if they test me. Any other Coloradan's around to share thier experience?

You should definitely avoid smoking pot until your probation is over!
And don't let the important message of this whole DUI episode escape you. In the future, if you've been drinking or smoking, ALWAYS wait, wait, wait before driving! |

Yes. Probation means that you have to remain clean a sober (in all forms of the word sober). If you piss dirty for anything you will be charged with a probation violation (Misdemeanor charge in most states). You should have been appointed a Probation Officer and more than likely you will have to report to him/ her every week. |
